School of Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (School of PMER): Building Capacity, has been established in 2010 as a training and research consultancy. This is independent member based consultancy that provides planning, monitoring, evaluation, research and training services. Its mission is to contribute for the enhancement of the planning, monitoring, evaluation, research and training on socio-economic, education and public health issues. It is properly registered to the government’s office at Company Registrar’s Office in Kathmandu district.
School of PMERaims to work as academic institution supporting for research, training and education excellence in the country that runs school and college in Nepal. School of PMER seeks to establish itself as an institute of social, economic, management, education and public health and its priority is to give policy research for the country. It is also concerned about participatory planning and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, capacity building and program intervention.
Looking behind the educational institution of Nepal, research, training and development practices and academic exercise are nominal. In addition to this, the demand of the quality research and the training programs are increasing day to day. To fill up the gap, School of Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (School of PMER) has been established as capacity building institution.
School of Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (School of PMER) have numbers of senior research professionals and researchers. More than twenty research assistants are trained and more than twenty-five professionals are engaged in our active roster.
